What does your policy actually say about hail?
Upload your homeowners policy. In about two minutes you get a plain-English brief, every point tied to the page it came from. $19 plus tax.
Please note: DecodeMyPolicy explains what your document says. It is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney, and it is not insurance advice. By ordering you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Your deductible for a wind or hail loss, in dollars, with the math shown
- How your roof gets paid: replacement cost or actual cash value, any age schedule, any holdback
- What is excluded or limited in a storm, and every deadline written into your policy
- Living expenses, debris and tree removal, and the questions to ask your agent
Built for Texas policies. Your upload is read by Anthropic's Claude, never used for training, and deleted 24 hours after delivery. Not a policy? You are refunded automatically.

What do I upload?
Your homeowners policy as a PDF, or photos of the pages. The declarations page is the minimum; the policy form and endorsements make the brief much stronger.
Is this insurance advice?
No. The brief explains what your own document says, with the page and clause for each point. It does not say whether you have damage or whether to file a claim. Your policy and your carrier's decisions control.
How accurate is it?
Every quoted clause is checked against the text of your upload, and the brief shows how many were verified. Numbers are computed only from figures printed in your policy, with the math shown. An automated system can still make mistakes, so confirm anything you plan to rely on with your agent.
What happens to my policy file?
It is read by Anthropic's Claude to produce the brief, is never used for training, and is deleted from our server 24 hours after delivery.
What if the file is not a policy?
You are refunded automatically and told why.
